You'll have to get through those two math classes, and pass them; but that doesn't mean you have to do it alone. As soon as you join the class, get a tutor. Your university will have a tutoring center, and the tutors there are either very low cost or sometimes even free. Use the tutor to talk you through the homework, and help you prepare for the exams. The help is there for you to use, so use it.

Same problem with me! always ask your instructor/professor for help-- they are eager to help you if you come to them. Most community colleges have refresher courses, and many offer free tutoring. Though I'm not so sure about Universities--though I would ask my roomate for help or if he/she knows anybody good at the subject to ask them for me. Also, I found that if I pray and humble myself before a higher power before I do math, it always works-out to my favor--YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY THAT!

pay attention in class so you can learn algebra. there is a reason they require it, it is helpful.

There should be math classes for people that are mathematically challenged. Or, I suggest you take a math class online, or at a community college which should probably be a little easier; make sure the credit is transferable. And, work hard, math isn't easy.
