They could have been made at the same independent sewing shop and have different label put on them. I know a shop is South Carolina that sews for several different companies and make the same things but puts different labels on them.
well each color has a million different shades and for manufacters to be able to make the exact same color a million times they need to asign numbers and they don;t make them up there is an actual number guide i can’t say universal but yes it is a common number guide for mostly everyone that is why you can find the exact same color in different pieces of furniture in different stores or even countries
